“Even Doe”

March 26, 2009 at 1:39 pm (Uncategorized)

This morning was pretty sweet. Will, Tori and I made some muffins. (which made a bit of mess. them, not me!) While they were in the oven (the muffins, not the kids) Tori “read” out of her Bible story book. (Tori’s “reading” consists of her remembering the story from the pictures and her telling them in her own words.)

She found the page with the triumphal entry and Jesus at the cross. Her words went something like this:

“Jesus came into town on a donkey and everyone cheered for him.  All the women, all the men, all the 2 year olds.  And then Jesus died on the cross for our sins.  He died for us ‘EVEN DOE’ we all did bad things.”

Isn’t it great to be reminded of grace by a 3 year old.  Jesus loved, served and sacrificed for us, EVEN DOE we didn’t deserve it! Amen.

Wow. This was adorable. Your blogs are fantastic! I made on on here for my Greece adventures. However, they’re pretty long…so you’ll just have to sit in the cofeeshop and read them. 😉
